My journey into real estate began a few years ago, at a time when my family and I were facing big decisions about the future. I had three children and a growing family, and I was working in a role I loved—as a pastor. Helping people had always been at the heart of my work, and I never imagined I would leave ministry.
But as we started thinking about college and the rising costs of education, I realized I wanted to explore opportunities that could help my kids graduate without debt. Watching my wife succeed on the Dave Hooke Team showed me that real estate could be more than just a career—it could be a way to serve families and make a real impact.
Taking the Leap into Real Estate
A few months ago, I officially made the move into real estate. Transitioning from ministry to real estate brought its own set of challenges. One of the first things I had to figure out was how to approach real estate from a pastor’s perspective: How could I continue serving people while guiding them through one of the most important decisions of their lives?

Even in my first 90 days, I experienced early successes. I’m thrilled to share that I recently got my first two properties under contract! Looking Ahead
This past weekend, we began college visits for our second child, and soon we’ll have two kids in college. Real estate has given me a way to support my family’s future while still helping others achieve theirs.
