From 20 years of service in the U.S. Army to a new mission in real estate—this is a story of transition, purpose, and discovering a new way to serve others.

After retiring as an Army veteran and working as a physician assistant in Army medicine, burnout eventually led to a turning point. While the medical field provided years of meaningful service, there was still a strong desire to continue helping people—especially fellow veterans—just in a different capacity.

That next chapter began in real estate.

Moving to a new area brought its own challenges. Being new meant starting from scratch—no established network, no sphere of influence, and uncertainty about how to connect with people in a new community. At first, building momentum wasn’t easy.

Everything changed after purchasing a home and connecting with a local real estate team. That single experience opened the door to opportunity—leading to licensing, mentorship, and ultimately a new career path in real estate.

Today, the mission remains the same at its core: serve people. Only now, that service looks like helping families find homes, guiding clients through one of life’s biggest decisions, and especially supporting veterans on their path to homeownership.

Real estate became more than a career change—it became a continuation of service in a new form.

If you’re considering a career shift, relocating to a new area, or exploring real estate as a path forward, this story is a reminder that it’s never too late to start again and find a new purpose.
