I wanted to take a moment to share my story and what brought me to real estate. About eight years ago, in my mid-20s, I found myself at a standstill. I didn’t feel like I had a clear purpose, so I decided to go back to school and earned a business degree from Shippensburg University. That path led me to a sales development role, but I still felt something was missing — I wanted more direct relationships with clients and more meaningful work.
I transitioned to sales at a reputable local dealership, where I thrived, achieving financial stability, taking adventures with my husband, and even buying a home. But once again, I felt a calling for something more fulfilling, especially thinking about our future and the family we wanted to build.
I reached out to friends and family in real estate, and one conversation with my friend Sinjin changed everything. He shared his passion for the Dave Hooke Team, emphasizing the supportive environment and strong sense of community. I decided to shadow the team and immediately knew I’d found where I belonged. The warmth, kindness, and accountability within the team were exactly what I was looking for.
One of the things that solidified my decision was the team’s commitment to enriching lives — not just for clients, but for each other and the broader community. Through Project Lamplight, a nonprofit created by Dave Hooke, we donate a portion of our commissions to help people in vulnerable times.
